Just over 1 kilometre from Júzcar, in the province of Málaga, you will find Charco de Moclón, a shallow cold-water bathing area, ideal for cooling off on hot summer days.
The most daring bathers can test themselves by going up the Genal River to its confluence with the Zúas, a tributary which passes through a canyon in its final section and has three waterfalls. In this section you will see the remains of an 18th-century tin factory.
