Balneario de Zújar
Zújar Spa Centre is located in the town of Zújar, in the province of Granada. This new spa complex stands on the slopes of Mount Jabalcón, alongside Negratín reservoir. The spa is created by thermal waters that converge in the area, classed as mineral-rich medicinal waters ideal for treating various complaints or simply enjoying their beneficial properties.
The waters of the Zújar spa Centre are of high mineralisation and contain mixed sulphates. As it emerges from the aquifer, the temperature of the water ranges from 39º to 41º. One of the most notable features is its conductivity (10,210 mcS/cm), far above the average conductivity in Andalusia, thus allowing the body to easily absorb its mineral content.
In 1928, they were declared to be mineral-rich medicinal waters ideal for treating various complaints such as rheumatism, bronchopulmonary disorders, excretory dysfunction, mouth-related illnesses, endocrine and metabolic diseases, heart problems, neurological complaints and gynaecological illnesses.
