El Oasis de las Aguas
El Oasis de las Aguas is located in the town of La Malahá, in the province of Granada. Water from four springs led to the creation of this important spa complex. Its waters have been used since the Carthaginians ruled much of Spain, around the 4th century B.C.
Today, the town boasts two thermal swimming pools, with changing rooms, gardens and restaurant, open throughout the summer. The temperature of the water is 28ºC and it is rich in sulphates, calcium, chlorides and bicarbonates. It is ideal for treating, among other things, rheumatism, bronchial chronic congestion, menstrual disorders, anaemia, chlorosis, hysteria, herpes and similar complaints.
