Museo Arqueológico Cuevas de Almanzora

In Cuevas castle, on the basement of La Tercia, there are archaeological remains displayed of one of the most important cultures in Prehistory- the Argarica. The Museo Agárico de Cuevas is a didactic way of learning about the ways of life of our ancestors, the first miners in the Iberian Peninsula, in one the most important beds- Fuente Álamo.

El Argar area, the settlement, life and death, are topics of this museum. The pieces, which have an enormous scientific value and were taken by archaeologists in the last digs, let us learn about daily life, work, and belief in another life after death.
