El Paladín Country House

The El Paladín Country House is located in the urban area of Zufre, a town to the northwest of Huelva and within the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Nature Reserve. There is easy access to other towns like Aracena and Higuera de la Sierra, and the "Silver Route" can easily be reached via the A-66 major road.

The surrounding landscape is full of meadows with oak and cork oak trees as well as small chestnut groves and scrubland. The Zufre reservoir is ideal for water sports and sport fishing.

Zufre, a beautiful town up in the mountains, was catalogued as an Asset of Cultural Interest, and here you can visit: The church of Santa María, the chapel of Santa Zita, the shrine of San Sebastián and the delightful Town Hall. The square is a lookout point with splendid panoramic views of the Zufre Reservoir.

The name comes from the Moorish Sufre and remains of an Almohad wall remain from this period.
