Zambra
In the past the place and the show itself, performed in Sacramonte were denominated 'Zambra'. What is still conserved of this is the dance integrated by three others: 'la alboreá' 'la cachuca' and 'la mosca', that symbolise different moments in a gypsy wedding. It is acompanied by monotone song and guitar playing, which shows that it is a style obviously rooted in folk music. In recent times Manolo Caracol made his own personal style famous which he called 'zambra', but which has nothing to do with it. Some of the widest spread titles in the version 'caracolera' are 'La salvaora' and 'La Niña del fuego'.
