Hostal Al Lago

Al Lago Hostel, a family run boutique hotel and restaurant, close to Ronda, an ideal respite from busy city touring and an opportunity to experience authentic rural Spain.

Overlooking an azure lake below the picturesque pueblo of Zahara de la Sierra, one of Spain’s heritage “white villages” and part of the “rutas de pueblos blancos”.

Within close range are the sherry bodegas of Jerez, the flamenco bars of Sevilla, and the historic town of Ronda.

Zahara itself is a tranquil, idyllic mountain village that feels like time forgot, surrounded by great hiking and cycling routes. Al Lago is a well looked after, comfortable small hotel with a great restaurant and a very friendly staff. Meals are served either out on our lake facing terrace or in our cosy dining room with fireplace. Our recently renovated stylish bar, is open all day serving drinks, tapas, homemade desserts and baked goods.

We are located on the Ronda-Seville road, 30 minutes from Ronda, and 1 hour 10 minutes from Seville.
