La Cañada del Sacristán

Cortijo La Cañada del Sacristán is located in the beautiful Brosque area and there is a great deal of wildlife to be seen in the surrounding area: boar, deer, fox, rabbit, along with a host of bird life that comes to visit its ponds and can be observed, especially in spring.

This classical, comfortable farmhouse, rescued from the ruins of a traditional, simple Andalusian rural house, is a perfect, exclusive setting for spending your leisure time. It has 4 spacious double rooms with personal design, offering accommodation and restaurant services. All rooms have private terrace or balcony and offer beautiful views of the Mediterranean forest. They have private bathroom, flat screen TV with digital channels, air conditioning and under-floor heating.

Access to the estate is via Exit 16 of the A-92M motorway that runs between the cities of Granada and Malaga. Following the signs for Paraje El Brosque, continue for 1.9 km until you get to a fork signed for Camino de La Moscatela; take this rural track as far as the door signed for access to Cortijo La Cañada del Sacristán.

This rural house has been selected for the 2009 edition of El Pais-Aguilar specialized guide "Houses with enchantment in the country", as one of the seventeen best in Spain.
