Museo de Historia Local de Villanueva de Córdoba

The Villanueva de Córdoba Local History Museum is located in the Plaza de España, in the old Courtroom building.

The exhibits are mainly from the Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods, funeral steles, Roman and Visigoth pieces, the interesting funeral remains from the Minguillo, other funerary objects and vessels, as well as a Roman Corinthian-style capital and a fragment of a seated Roman sculpture in a toga, both of these pieces from the archaeological site of Majadaiglesia, in the district of El Guijo.
