Centro de Interpretación de la Dehesa

The Dehesa Visitor Centre is a typical house from the 19th century, restored and converted into a museum explaining the meadow as a natural and financial resource, and the culture and lifestyles that it has generated.

The house conserves typical architectural features of an agricultural stately house in Villanueva de Córdoba: ample corridor, thick walls and groin vaults.

The museum shows us how the meadow was in the past and is now: its natural species, both fauna and flora, the animal species that are the basis of an agricultural economy, and the traditions that arise of man's lifestyle in this setting.
