Casa Rural Cortijo La Huertezuela
The Cortijo La Huertezuela is in the vega del Guadalquivir, in the foothills of the Sierra Morena Mountains. It is surrounded by olive trees and oak meadows that are part of the estate itself. The cortijo, refurbished in recent years, is since 1940 the final destination of the Pilgrimage of Villafranca de Cordoba.
Located 3 kilometres from the village and 20 from Cordoba, in Cortijo La Huertezuela we can find stables for horses, dogs, small bullring, and even an oil mill. Close by is the Aquasierra Water Park, the Karting of Villafranca, as well as a jetty in the river where you can enjoy canoeing. Likewise, in Villafranca de Cordoba, we can visit several historical monuments like the Nuestra Señora de los Remedios hermitage, the parish church of Santa Marina or the Clock Tower.
Cortijo La Huertezuela has two newly built houses and another restored bone, distributed around a charming central courtyard. The three houses are fully furnished and decorated with an exquisite taste. The facilities include a jacuzzi, Roman thermal bath, showers and gym. Two of the houses have a similar layout: three bedrooms, each with a bathroom (one with disabled access), spacious lounge and kitchen. The third, the largest one, has two floors offering an impressive living room/kitchen on the ground floor and four double bedrooms upstairs, with showers or hydro massage bath in each. The large house has a maximum capacity for eight people and the other two for six people.
