Villablanca
Village situated in Tierra Llana, in the west of the province and near the border with Portugal, surrounded by land used for farming and livestock.
Its monuments are the Gothic chapel and Saint Sebastian's Church.
History
It was founded in the first half of the XVI century with the name Villa de la Puebla de Santa María la Blanca, in a place called "Cortes de Capitán", in the Marquisate of Ayamonte and very near the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora La Blanca.
It received the title of "Villa" in the year 1531.
