In Vélez de Benaudalla, the Gastro-Museum of Andalusian Oil has the basic aim of promoting agrifood products from Andalusia, primarily olive oil as the main feature of its gastronomy. Discover the Costa Tropical oil culture and its most famous food products first-hand.

The Gastro-Museum of Andalusian Oil has an exhibition area, an area devoted to our olive-growing heritage, a conference room, shop and offices. It is worth highlighting its exhibition of oils and display of old machinery relating to the world of olive groves and the extraction of oil.

You can learn first-hand about one of the oldest and most important economic cultures in Andalusia, how this product that is so important in the daily life of its people is produced and obtained; as well as its collection regarding the region's main productive areas.

Tour without guide: €1,50 per person. Individual ticket for the museum without guide. Guided tour: €3,50 per person. Guided tour for groups of up to 10 people and a basic tasting session. Gourmet tour: €6,00 per person. Tour for groups of up to 10 people and Gourmet tasting session. Basic tour for groups: €2,00 per person. Includes a guided tour and tasting session of top quality natural Andalusian oil. Normal tour for groups: €2,80 per person. Includes a guided tour and tasting session of typical Alpujarra oil and cold meats. Gourmet tour for groups: €4,00 per person. Includes a guided tour and tasting session of Andalusian oil, artisan cheese and local wine.

Winter: Monday to Friday: 10am to 2pm and 4 to 7pm. Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 2pm. Summer: Monday to Friday: 10am to 2pm and 5 to 8.30pm. Saturday: 10am to 2pm.
