El Refectorio
Right in the centre of Vejer de la Frontera, in an old 17th century Franciscan Convent and part of the facilities of the Hotel Hotel Convento San Francisco. El Refectorio offers visitors a setting which recalls its ancient inhabitants.
El Refectorio serves a rich and creative cuisine based on fresh rock fish from the Cadiz coast and Retinta beef.
Slices of raw Almadraba fresh tuna fish in dill oil, roast Retinta beef and green pepper napada are just some of the highlights; but also the tapas from the old convent chapel, where you can also enjoy the centuries-old frescos.
