Carnival of Valverde del Camino

The Carnival of Valverde del Camino is one of the most important festivals in Huelva. For several weeks in February, the town is filled with joy, music and costumes. 

Performing groups of chirigotas, murgas and comparsas compete in contests, while locals enjoy parades, dances and activities for all ages. One of the standout features is the celebration in the countryside, where a more traditional and close-knit atmosphere can be experienced.
