Fair of the Consolación

The festivities on the occasion of the feast of the Patroness of Utrera, Our Lady of Consolación, are consolidated as one of the oldest in the province of Seville.

When it began it was a cattle fair that took place because of the great Virgen de Consolación pilgrimage, for which thousands of people would come to Utrera. Nowadays it is an event that fills the town with joy, dancing and fun, with horse riding and harnessing during the day and concerts at night.

On September 8, the hermitage of Consolación stays open all night so it can be visited by pilgrims coming from Utrera and other neighboring towns.

Fair of Utrera is declared of Ansalusian Tourist Interest.
