Destilería La Flor de Utrera
La Flor de Utrera Distillery started in the old factory that distilled anisette and gin in 1943, under the brand Horizonte, in a 1916 forged copper still on Calle Feria de Sevilla.
In 1960, Antonio Espinar Ojeda and his sons started up the old factory again and distilled anisette. It became very popular with the locals in Utrera and the Seville countryside.
With a limited production, the artisan spirits produced by La Flor de Utrera have secret formulas that make them stand out from the rest, thanks to their quality, anise aroma and silky palate.
The tour of the current facilities includes a short explanation of the history of the distillery, a tour round the production area with a description of the anisette distillation and bottling processes, and, finally, a presentation and tasting of La Flor de Utrera and Horizonte anisettes. Duration: 30 minutes approx. Advance booking required.
