Casa Palacio de los Marqueses de Tous
The Casa Palacio de los Marqueses de Tous in Utrera, is an elongated, three-storey, brick building In the interior, the palace is distributed around three courtyards. Two of them are Baroque, with galleries of semicircular arches decorated with projecting mouldings and supported by columns. In the third courtyard, the arches in the lower gallery are each framed by an alfiz, a decoration commonly used until the mid-16th century. The doorway can be dated to about 1725.
Since 1990, this Mansion has been the headquarters of the Cultural Centre of Utrera, conceived as a meeting point, a place for recreation, and information. It is a facility for cultural proximity, where training activities, exhibitions and the production of “creative languages” take place.
The Cultural Centre has 6 Training Classrooms, an Exhibition Hall with a floor area of 220 m2 and a layout which can be adapted according to the needs of the exhibitors and an Assembly Hall with capacity for 82 people, with a sound and projection system, where conferences, presentations and courses are organised.
