Cortijo Spíritu Santo

Cortijo Spíritu Santo is in the Jaén area of Úbeda, it is right in the countryside of olive groves in the heart of the estate called Cortijo Spíritu Santo where there is a 17th-century farmhouse turned into rural accommodation.

All visitors are offered the chance to explore the exciting world of the olive grove and olive oil, therefore we offer guided walks through the olive groves so that the flora and fauna and our marvellous environment may be appreciated, from which we can make out the Sierra Mágina and the cities of Úbeda and Baeza. You can find out about the current varieties of olive trees on the estate, usage of the ground and the growing work being done according to the season.

The whole process for production of virgin olive oil, real olive juice, is explained to you. You will learn about what happens at an oil mill from when the olive arrives until the oil is in the bottle. When the tour ends, you are offered a guided tasting of the oils.
