Hotel Parador de Turismo de Úbeda
In the most Rennaissance square of the aristocratic town of Úbeda, famous for its monuments too, and next to some of the most beautiful local buildings, there is the Parador. It is built on an old 16th century palace, which was restored in the 17th century, that belonged to the dean of the Sacra Capilla de El Salvador chapel. In addition to its amazing façade, there is a beautiful patio with a double gallery and glassed ceiling.
Its cosy comfortable rooms have very high ceilings. There are six rooms overlooking the square and a suite, on the opposite corner, from where you can enjoy the view of Plaza de Vázquez de Molina square. Andalusian plates and decoration items embellish the dining room, which serves nice partridge stuffed peppers, ox tail in Loma red wine sauce, and kid stew with pine nuts.
