Aventura Amazonia in Marbella
The Costa del Sol is much more than sun and sand, and anyone who has been here before knows that well. In Marbella (Malaga), just 500 metres from the sea, you will find the largest and one of the most complete adventure parks in Andalusia, Aventura Amazonia: 83 attractions in trees and 20 zip-lines shared across six adventure circuits that adapt perfectly to all difficulty levels. As such, children can have fun in the MiniKids or Kids areas while the more daring among you can tackle the Aventura or Deportivo circuits. One of its main attractions is its zip-line between trees, measuring 240m, and the largest in Andalusia.
An ecological park among trees
In the heart of the Sierra Morena, a legendary place that tells tales of mythical bandits, you will find the small village of Posadas (Cordoba), where it is traditional to celebrate and gather around a barbecue or the Cordoban "perol", surrounded by pine trees, rockrose and palm trees. Taking advantage of the wealth of the nearby forest, the Sierrezuela, the initiative behind this ecological park among trees was born: Posadas Aventura. It covers almost 20,000 m2, where fun - suspended between trees - is shared in harmony with its surroundings. Throughout its four circuits, 9 zip-lines and large number of paths and trails, you will have the chance to exercise, learn and explore its varied flora in the company of your friends and family. If you're ready for more fresh air, head to the outdoor terrace. A soft drink and the best of Cordoban gastronomy awaits. It's the perfect time to share your impressions and wonder at the views over the Guadalquivir Valley.
Dive into nature in Lepe
What about those who want to dive into nature, get away from it all and surrender to the benefits of life in the countryside? In Lepe (Huelva), on the Dehesa del Piorno Estate, is Waingunga, a leisure complex where entertainment is endless. Nature and active tourism are protagonists in this park, where you can practise kayaking or paddle surfing in its reservoir, and then share some laughter in a paintball or zorball fight. Put your aim to the test in the evening with archery, and then test your balance on the bridge circuit or at the climbing wall. The day ends with a stroll around the estate, on your mountain bikes or by imitating the flight of an eagle from the 55-metre zip-line.
However, Waingunga, as users testify to, is much more. At its facilities you can train in sports, celebrate your big events with your friends and family, or sleep in a unique setting in comfortable wooden cabins, in its youth hostel or like a true Indian in its tipis. How about that!
Solar-powered boat rides in Jaén
El Tranco Leisure and Active Tourism Centre, situated in Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, offers a true introduction to nature. One of its main attractions is a ride in a solar-powered boat, during which you can enjoy nature and the birds in this idyllic place. There are also are other activities available, such as kayaking or walking and stargazing. Everything is possible in an area that offers visits to olive oil mills, tastings and days with olive makers. A world of ecological and sustainable experiences awaits.
