Fair in Torrox

During the first weekend of October takes place the Fair in Torrox in honour of its patrons, the Virgen de las Nieves and San Roque.

However, the real celebration of both saints is on August 5th. This change took place because when summer arrived, the torroxeños and torroxeñas would go away to the farmhouses for the grape harvesting season and did not return until the end of September, when they had completed their agricultural tasks. Therefore, during a few days in October, locals and visitors alike celebrate and enjoy the fair, where folklore and fun go hand in hand with tradition.
