Playa Los Álamos
Los Álamosis beach situated in the town of Torremolinos, in the eastern part of the municipality, bordering Malaga. In this area we can find the Roman archaeological sites of La Cizaña.
It is a vast, semi-urban beach, the furthest from the centre of Torremolinos. It is one of the most popular beaches with young people, as it combines relaxation and leisure, traditional beach bars and modern "beach clubs": some of them with chill-out music, others with live performances. As for water and sports activities, there is beach volleyball, windsurfing, paddle surfing and cycling, as well as roller-skating along Torremolinos promenade, which connects with Playamar and El Bajondillo beaches.
It is easily accessible by car and bus. The local line L-2 Playamar and the inter-city line M-123 will take you to this beach. It can also be accessed from the "Los Álamos" local "Cercanías" train station, which covers the Malaga-Fuengirola route.
A semi-urban beach with car parks and a bicycle and skating lane. The modern "Beach Clubs" make this beach a favourite with young people. * There is a lifeguard and rescue service in the summer season and a point of access for people with reduced mobility and/or requiring assisted bathing and which has life jackets, towing services, loungers, floating chairs, shady areas (booking required) * Sandy beach with good access. * Public toilets available. * Shady areas with an oasis of palm trees.
