Casa de los Navajas
Located in Torremolinos, very close to the Playa del Bajondillo beach and with easy access to it, the Casa de los Navajas appeared, as did many others from this period and parallel to the creation of the first hotels in the town, as a second residence for one of the wealthy families at this time.
Built in 1925 by the Luque- Navajas family, it is a palace in neo-Mudejar style with Mozarabic features. Its origin, just like the family fortune, is linked to the sugar cane business which was very profitable at that time in area around the mouth of the Guadalhorce River.
Nowadays today it is a venue for weddings and other celebrations. It also holds a number of exhibitions, concerts and theatre pieces.
