Oleícola Álvarez

Oleícola Álvarez is in the Jaén town of Torredonjimeno, it is a company founded in 1996 by the Álvarez family, which brings together all the teamwork and desires for improvement needed for producing and making Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The Oleícola Álvarez oil mill was created to grind the olives belonging to the Álvarez family but, due to the demand for olive grinding from farmers, the facilities were extended — both for the receipt of olives (hopper-belt-weighing scales- washing machine…) and as regards storage of the same before grinding (hopper), and as regards the beating and production process (vertical beater-vertical centrifuges…), and also the separation and storage in the cellar (vats and tanks), and increased their harvest from 1,000,000 kg of olives in 1996 to around 12,000,000 kg of olives currently. with a daily grinding capacity of 500,000 kg olives and storage capacity for 3,000 tonnes of oil.
