The beginnings of golf in the Axarquía district have a name written in red: Añoreta Golf

So many visitors who have experienced Añoreta Golf have given it the name "El Paraíso del Sol”.

The beauty of the Axarquía is known to everyone, a virtually idyllic spot on the eastern Costa del S ol where the local microclimate enables the hours of sunlight and the good weather to exist alongside landscapes, fruit trees and of course, golf courses which you can't fail to enjoy. And it was in this setting in1990 where one of the famous golf course designs in our region arose: Añoreta Golf.

So many visitors who have experienced Añoreta Golf have given it the name "El Paraíso del Sol”. You should know that in Rincón de la Victoria you'll find a course on which you'll need to be ready to enjoy the mild climate and a testing design that will make you consider each shot very carefully as those birdies may be much closer than you think.

José María Cañizares, a World Champion, designed a course on which you'll need to use all your shots and where good results are almost guaranteed. We can assure you that you'll enjoy a unique experience with the Mediterranean and Malaga as witnesses from some of its most emblematic holes. You'll love the view when you're taking your second shot on the 10th hole.

But Añoreta Golf is so much more than just golf. The excellent Academy is a true reflection of this club where one of the objectives is to develop from the base and promote this sport among children. Antonio Lastras and Daniel Quirós are responsible for children's golf and they have a clear objective: to enjoy learning and always have a smile.

And if after playing a round of golf you want to carry on enjoying sport… Bingo! Añoreta has a surprise for you in the form of paddle tennis courts where you can play with your friends at any time. They say they're the best in the area, but you'd better come and see for yourself.

Gastronomy? We are in one of the corners par excellence of the Mediterranean and a good example of this is the Restaurant AOVE Añoreta Golf. Stylised cuisine but with a touch of the area's maritime tradition which is reflected in its excellent fish and seafood menu. You can't leave without trying the Vitoria anchovies fried in Virgin Olive Oil. So tasty!
