Centro de Buceo Cies Sub Tarifa

Cies Sub Centre was created in Tarifa in 1995 by a group of friends who loved diving and were members of the C.I.E.S. Club. It is classed as a Diving Centre-School that teaches all aspects of diving.

The company dives all year round in the Strait of Gibraltar, and organises courses for all levels, events such as ocean clean-up, photography competitions, collaborations with universities, the CSIC and other bodies.

Cies Sub Tarifa Diving Centre mainly focus on the first 20 metres, as that's where most the sea life can be found, although they also cover deeper parts of the ocean. Most of the divers, especially photographers, who dive at the centre are Open Water divers. This increases diving time, with more light, less cold and, above all, lower risk, making diving a fun and recreational activity that most people can do.
