The Tarifa - Tangier African Film Festival returns for a hybrid version that looks at the revolution in films in the neighbouring continent.
As in previous editions, there will be a masterclass by international experts, one on one meetings and prizes that will be awarded within the framework of a project market. There will also be a round table for dialogue table within the Tree of Words forum which will be available via streaming. New features will include a post-production workshop and a new extension in Ceuta.
The Festival will bring together filmmakers and journalists asking questions such as: What is the response to this change in Spanish cinema today? What image of what is African is being given in these new productions? Is it possible to talk about a new relationship between Spain and Africa through films?
The Tarifa - Tangier African Film Festival is a part of PANTALLA, the National Federation of Film Festival and Audiovisual Content Coordinators, which brings together 8 coordinators in 179 festivals and 14 Autonomous Regions with a total of a million spectators and where the motto is quality, diversity and plurality.
