All this without forgetting the area's most valuable treasure, the Spanish-Roman city of "Baelo Claudia", which was strategically located for trade with North Africa and had an important salted fish industry where the prized "Garum" (fish sauce) was made. You can discover it by exploring its streets by yourself or with guided tours, visiting its museum or attending the concerts and plays that are held in summer in the "Baelo Nights" series.
