Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix
The Jerez - Ángel Nieto Circuit is hosting the Motorcycle Grand Prix from 26 to 28 April 2024.
Moto GP is the most important motorcycle championship in the world. The 2024 calendar begins in Qatar and arrives in Spain at the Jerez Circuit in April.
During this event, fans fill the streets of this lovely, welcoming city.
The Jerez Grand Prix has become the largest motorcycle event in the world, in which more than 70,000 motorbikes participate.
Description of the Race
The Grand Prix will be held on 26, 27 and 28 April, with the first two for free trials and classification for each category. The third day is race day.
Categories which make up the MotoGP™ World Championship:
Three Grand Prix classes: 1000cc MotoGP™, 600cc Moto2™ and 250cc Moto3™. After the warm-up sessions for each category, the race programme traditionally starts with the lowest category, up to the top category, MotoGP™.
The distance varies for each class: MotoGP™ - 120 km, Moto2™ - 110 km, Moto3™ - 100 km.
Riders
The Grand Prix of the MotoGP World Championship is made up of three categories: MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™.
The lowest category, Moto3™, is the gateway to the championship and almost all the riders who are part of the World Championship have been through it. Once they have completed their cycle in this class, they go on to the intermediate category of Moto2™ in which only the best will reach the premier class of MotoGP™.

Jerez Circuit
How to get there
Jerez de la Frontera is just forty-five minutes from Seville along the Seville-Cádiz motorway, and the N-IV dual carriageway that connects it to Madrid.
Jerez Circuit is at kilometre 6.5 on the A-382 dual carriageway (Jerez-Arcos-Antequera).
Jerez international airport runs regular flights to Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Tenerife; and to European cities such as London, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Brussels, etc.
Jerez railway station provides links to many cities and capital cities. The capital city of Spain, Madrid, is just a few hours away thanks to the high-speed train (AVE) that departs from Seville.

Tickets are now available on the Jerez Circuit's website and at the box office on the days of the championship.

Camping Area
It is a closed and exclusive area for fans, very close to the circuit's main entrances, easily accessible, with security surveillance, cleaning staff, health care, hot showers, general lighting, green areas, etc. More information here.
