Valderrama Golf Club was the headquarters of the Ryder Cup 1997 and is one of the most valuable examples of Andalusian golf. Furthermore, journalists have chosen it on three occasions as the best course in Europe.
The Volvo Masters Andalusia held between 2002 and 2007, made all eyes in Europe turn towards the Valderrama Golf Club which served as an incentive to make numerous improvement to the already beautiful course. Every last detail of the course is meticulously cared for.
The fairways were designed using mathematical precision, framing the hundred or so bunkers and some raised greens. An original design by Robert Trent Jones, Valderrama Golf Club also has the stamp from Seve, who updated the 17th hole.
