Natur Sport Sorbas - Cuevas de Sorbas

Using the name of Sorbas Caves, Natur Sport Sorbas S.L. organises potholing routes in some of the most representative caves in this unique karst region in eastern Almería, very near the Tabernas Desert.

All activities have specialised monitors belonging to the Andalusian and Spanish Speleology Federations and qualified through the Spanish School of Speleology. All equipment used for the activities is approved by the UIAA, and the lighting used is based on long-life, rechargeable batteries designed especially for speleology.

Explanations for all routes can be in Spanish, English, French or German, depending on the time of year and the number of participants.

The facilities are located about two kilometres from the town of Sorbas and about two hundred metres from the cave. Natur Sport Sorbas SL has both third-party and accident insurance.

There are three routes for individuals and groups and two routes especially for teaching centres. They vary in duration, difficulty and even content, depending on the people taking part.
