Alfarería Juan Simón

The Alfarería Juan Simón is a traditional, family-run pottery which continues the legacy inherited from their ancestors and where the clay is modelled just as it was in ancient times.
They have been modelling clay for generations in the town of Sorbas (Almería) maintaining a long, unique tradition of pottery since the Neolithic era.
This pottery has been recognised by the Regional Government of Andalusian as a Place of Artisanal Interest.
The Alfarería Juan Simón renews its catalogue of articles continuously. It is renowned for its kitchen utensils, crockery, decorative items and building articles.
It is also open for visits and they organise workshops where you can turn the clay into art, dry it and decorate it and finish the pieces off in the kiln.
