El Tío del Saco Victoria Kent
El Tío del Saco has its two taverns in Seville, where it serves large, inexpensive, home-made tapas in an aesthetically original and avant-garde atmosphere. They have a young team which has been able to give the business a personal touch and great strength: a creative tavern.
El Tío del Saco recommends the black rice with garlic sauce, the chicken "pastilla" (a Moroccan style pie), and the home-made pâté with raspberry jelly. You could even ask for the pork loin with Jack Daniels or its most original and authentic tapa, the "serranito" pizza with egg, beefsteak and a slice of ham. And then you might even try the apple and curry lasagne or the special sandwich, a monstrosity of a dish.
For lovers of good wine, you really ought to try the recommendation of the house, “El Canto 5”, a fruity white wine which exceeds the expectations of the best Sommelier.
Midday to 5pm and 8pm to 1am. In winter, closed on Monday. In summer, open only in the evening.
