Inquisition Alley is a narrow passageway approximately 35 metres long in Seville's Triana neighbourhood.
This historic alley connects Calle Castilla to Paseo de Nuestra Señora de la O, the waterfront promenade along the River Guadalquivir. It takes its name from its proximity to the old castle of San Jorge, which in medieval times housed the headquarters of the Spanish Inquisition where heretics were judged and punished.
