The Church of San Román, also known as San Román y Santa Catalina, is one of the oldest religious buildings in Seville, dating back to 1356. Located in the square of the same name, it stands out for its Gothic-Mudejar architecture, characteristic of the Sevillian churches of the time.

After the reconquest of the city in 1248, Seville was divided into 24 parishes, San Román being one of them.
