Comunidad de la lana
Comunidad de la lana is a company located in Seville, in a group of artisan workshops called Rompemoldes. (Formerly Corrala).
Comunidad de la lana has been working to recover old Andalusian blankets and textiles for several years. These textiles have been part of various exhibitions showing this textile tradition from al-Andalus (8th to 13th century).
The Comunidad de la lana workshop also makes jams and preserves using products from the traditional vegetable garden, unique food grown in the mountains of the province of Huelva, like the "tomate rosao", a tomato variety that is grown in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche mountains, listed by Slow Food as an exceptional food in the Ark of Taste, due to its peculiar characteristics, quality and delicacy.
