Alberto Pantoja Martín

Alberto Pantoja Martin was born in 1931 in Morón de la Frontera, the heart of traditional flamenco. José Alberto Pantoja Martin learnt how to build his guitars in the early 1960s. He is partly self-taught and set up his own workshop as an independent luthier in 1967. 

He preferred maple for the back and sides of most of his flamenco guitars, and this guitar is made using this type of wood. It features traditional wooden tuning pegs and the sound has an authentic gypsy flavour. It is in excellent condition, with just a little wear on the finish.
