Flamenco XXI
Located in the city of Seville, Flamenco XXI is a company that has the support of great artists like Manuela Carrasco, Raimundo Amador and other personalities from the world of Flamenco, like the artistic director of the Mont-de-Marsan Flamenco Art Festival, Sandrine Rabassa, and the fashion designer Aurora Gaviño.
Conscious of the fact that Flamenco is a tourist attraction for Spain, and specifically for Andalusia, it organises exclusive experiences with the emphasis on Flamenco. These experiences include private shows in the best venues in Seville and tourist routes to discover the history of Flamenco.
It's not just a show, it's a comprehensive experience of Flamenco.
The highlight is the Guided Tour of Triana, a historic setting and the home of this art form, with a private show at the end of the tour. The visit starts with a walking tour accompanied by an expert guide from the world of Flamenco, who will help you discover the origins, the evolution and the present status of Flamenco, and discover characters who have become legends, areas, houses and original taverns associated with this art form. Then you'll be able to experience the world of Flamenco with a private show in the “Tronío”, considered one of the meeting points for Seville's high society and a transit point for Flamenco's prominent figures.
The activity starts with the distribution of a free guide full of photos and historical curiosities which has a dual purpose: it serves as a support for the explanations given by the guides on the intangible elements making up the route and as a souvenir for the visitor.
The show includes a welcome drink.
The route takes 1 hour 30 minutes and can be conducted in Spanish, English, French or Italian. (the route takes about 45 minutes accompanied by a bilingual guide, and the private show lasts 45 minutes). The guides use radio mikes for voice transmission during the tour so that you're able to hear perfectly. The venue is right in the heart of the Triana neighbourhood, next to the renowned Plaza del Altozano. The stage is fully equipped for shows, there is a bar which can also be used as a support for catering, there is wooden furniture (high and low tables, stools and benches with cushions) and cosy lighting with Mudejar-style lamps.
