Federación Provincial de Sevilla de Entidades Flamencas
The Federación Provincial de Sevilla de Entidades Flamencas (Seville Provincial Federation of Flamenco Institutions) is located in Sevilla and is a cultural, non-profit organisation founded in 1977. It was created in defence of local Flamenco organisations, which are the source of most of the enthusiasts that underpin this art form.
The Federación Provincial de Sevilla de Entidades Flamencas, which encompasses over 70 flamenco clubs, chat groups and associations, each with about 100 members, represents more than 7000 enthusiasts from all over Seville province, making it one of the largest associations in the region.
But most important is its objective: to defend and promote Andalusia's musical culture, flamenco; an art form that is undoubtedly one of Spain's most famous hallmarks.
