Monumental Tour of Seville: Alcázar, Cathedral and Giralda

Our guided tour starts from the offices of Naturanda located in the Calle Francos, 19.

After forming the group and handing out the audio systems, the tour sets off towards the first monument to be visited in the morning, the Cathedral of Seville, also known as Santa María de la Sede, where we have priority admission.

The visit inside the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world lasts almost an hour and a half, and here you will discover secrets and the changes that have been made over the centuries, since the Moors built the old Aljama de Isbilya Mosque here. Another of the important points on our tour of the Cathedral will be access to the old Moorish minaret that tis now known as the Giralda.

After a detailed explanation on the architecture and history of what was one of the tallest towers in the world for centuries, visitors will have free time to climb the ramps to the top that is 90 metres up, where you can enjoy the beautiful views from the tower over the city.

At the end of the tour of the Cathedral and the Giralda, there will be a short break before visiting the Royal Alcázar of Seville. Both monuments have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. On our visit to the oldest Royal Palace in Europe we enjoy priority admission and the tour lasts almost an hour and a half. The tour includes a visit to the old Palace of Rey Don Pedro, the Palacio del Yeso, the Mayor's House, the "Casa de la Contratación" (House of Trade), the Gothic Palaces andof course the beautiful gardens where the guided tour ends. You can the decide whether you wish to spend more time visiting the gardens and the Palace at your own pace.
