The Monument to Mozart is a bronze sculpture of the composer W.A. Mozart. The statue is resting one of his feet on a chair while studying sheet music and holding a violin in his right hand. It was erected in 1991 to mark the second centenary of the composer's death. It was made by Rolando Campos and is located next to the Maestranza Theatre.
Thanks to the composer, the name of the city of Seville became universal with his two operas: The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni, inspired by Don Juan Tenorio.
