Hermandad del Rocío Chapel - Triana
After purchasing the lot adjacent to the one used to shelter the "simpecado" (religious banner) carriage throughout the year, on 20 May 1979 the first stone of the Hermandad del Rocío Chapel in Triana was laid. On 25 September 1982, for the first time the "simpecado" of Our Lady of Rocío de Triana was taken from Parish of San Jacinto to its chapel on Calle Evangelista.
The structure, crowned with a graceful bell tower, has three floors.
The ground floor, where the Chapel is located, is decorated with a base of Triana tiles depicting the Rocío Pilgrimage. To the left of the door there is a gate, where the "Simpecado" carriage is placed throughout the year, and the choir is on the right.
The first and second floors house the rooms where the daily life of the Brotherhood takes place. These rooms include the assembly hall, offices and meeting rooms.
