On the main paths you can find tombs, mausoleums and memorial monuments of bullfighters, guitarists, poets, sculptors, politicians, athletes and flamenco singers, including those of Joselito “El Gallo” (The Cockerel), Francisco Rivera “Paquirri”, Antonio Machín, Antonio Ruiz Soler “El Bailarín”, Juanita Reina, Manuela Vargas, Antonio Susillo, Niño Ricardo, Antonio Puertas, Benito Villamarín,… as well as others of interest who explored Baroque style, regionalism and the showmanship factor that are central to Seville customs and the Sevillian people, such as Holy Week, created by prestigious sculptors and architects as Aníbal González.
Some authors describe it as a garden museum, where you can find lines of cypresses, the funerary tree par excellence; palm trees symbolising the triumph of life and eternity; cedars, thujas, laurel and rosemary.
