The Casa Álvaro Dávila was built in the Avenida de la Constitución and is a Neo-Mudéjar-Plateresque building from the early regionalist period. It has all the features characteristic of this period including the use of bricks as the main building material. A unique feature of this building is a staircase which from the outside looks over a polygonal floor.
It was built between 1915 and 1917 at the request of the Marqués de Villamarta by the architect Aníbal González.
