Chapel of the Sailors Esperanza de Triana
Chapel of the Sailors with typical Seville architectural style from the second half of the 18th century, is rectangular in shape with a lintel supported by modillions, with a pediment divided by a Goya niche. It houses a clay image representing the Immaculate Conception, by Antonio Ilanes in 1962. The façade is topped with a belfry, adorned with pinnacles and urns with bronze lilies, made, as the three bells, by Ramón León in 1998.
The chapel is divided into three naves, a central nave and two side naves which aren't communicated. Highlights include the carved beams in the ceiling, made of red pine, from the former Villasís school. The central chandelier, carved in glass in the 19th century, comes from what was the Gran Café Britz.
The presbytery is presided over by the Main Altarpiece, in two sections and three lanes, from the second third of the 18th century. In the central part of the altarpiece is the image of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza de Triana. Its author is unknown, although it is attributed to Juan de Astorga, in the 19th century.
On the wall of the nave of the Gospel (Evangelio), you can see the image of the Santísimo Cristo de las Tres Caídas, anonymous work from the 17th century, attributed to Marcos Cabrera.
