Baños Moros
Located in the historic centre of the monumental town of Segura de la Sierra, the Moorish Baths, also called Arab Baths, correspond to the traditional model, as they comprise three rooms laid out in parallel: cold, warm and hot or (frigidarium, tapidarium and caldarium). They all have the same structure: they are rectangular, are covered by a barrel vault with skylights and each one has a small area on both sides separated by a double horseshoe arch.
However, the boiler and the vestibule or apoditarium are missing.
It is worth mentioning that they are some of the few Moorish baths still preserved in the province of Jaén, together with those in that city.
A guided tour of the Segura Castle can be made by prior arrangement.
Free access without charge.
