Museo Municipal de Santiponce Fernando Marmolejo
The Santiponce Fernando Marmolejo Municipal Museum is next to the Roman Theatre of Santiponce, which has a large exhibition area consisting of a ground floor with a number of different areas, and a top floor with three halls for temporary exhibitions.
The permanent collection consists of works from donations made by illustrious goldsmith Fernando Marmolejo Camargo. The most representative exhibits include reproductions of famous archaeological treasures, such as the Recesvinto Crown, the Tartessian candelabra of Lebrija, the Almohad keys to the city of Seville, etc., commissioned by the Ministry of Culture.
From 1 October to 31 March: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and public holidays: 10am to 2pm. Friday and Saturday, 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 7pm. From 1 April to 30 September: Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 2pm. Closed on Mondays.
