Finca Mesa del Rey

This rural house is located in the limits of the Despeñaperros natural park, a spot with an incredible beauty called, as the house, La Mesa del Rey. You can enjoy the views of Castillo de Castro Ferraz and Salto del Fraile ruins, located near Miranda del Rey, where the old Roman road that used to communicate the centre of the Bética mountains with the centre of Hispania crosses.

The rural house is located inside a farm, with the same name, where trekking routes exist to get to know the characteristic vegetation and animals of this Sierra Morena area, standing out the following: holm oak, cork oak, rockrose, mastic tree, etc. And all the following aromatic plants: thyme, rosemary, lavender, French lavender, etc, and among the animals: deer, wild boar, Iberian lynx, imperial eagle, etc.
