Sanlúcar la Mayor Fair

The Sanlúcar Fair was originally a cattle fair serving the villages in the region, but it has evolved to include activities for fun and entertainment, as well as local folklore. This is one of the most established and traditional fairs in the province of Seville. The official inauguration of the fair takes place on the Wednesday evening with the pescaíto (typical fried fish).

The programme of events for the fair guarantees fun for young and old alike, with concerts, "sevillana" dance competitions, and contests to decide the best decorated marquees.

It has been declared a festivity of National Tourist Interest in Andalusia.
